The drivers trip no longer shows. This allows no idea as to when the cab will be arriving. Also cab drivers shouldnt be able to cancel trips after 5mins en route without a call. Other then that the app is great

Doesnt accept payment over the app it says it does but it wont work and they hold your passenger hostage. If anyone at beck is reading this, sell your assets now while you still can.

Worse App ever. The updated App has been even worse than original.

The people who made this app should try using Uber one time, and then comparing how that feels to using the Beck app. I dont like Uber, but they know how to make ordering a ride easy and painless. I booked a trip with Beck tonight. I wrestled with the map for awhile to make my location reflect reality. Immediately I got a phone call saying, "You booked a taxi, but you specified a range of addresses?" "Umm… thats just what the app did." "Whats your address?" (…lengthy conversation ensues about where I might be, because Im at a bar and I dont know the street address) Later, the ride concludes. I should be able to just get out, because Ive setup auto-pay. But instead the driver scrounges for some mysterious piece of paper and pen for a minute, then writes something down at length, and then, finally, enters the amount to charge. I wait some more and think about just paying in cash. Finally the payment goes through. Its nice you made an app, but it would be even nicer if it actually made ordering a taxi more convenient, not less…

There is no better functionality on this than using a phone and at least with the phone you can call someone when the cab doesnt show up for half an hour. I am not sure why they dont use locations to determine the best cab.

Used this app twice today and both times the cab arrived right on time. So far so good.

I used this app three times. The cars I ordered are punctual and the drivers are nice. However, the cars inside were really dirty and watery, which made me want to get off the car right away.

Theyve learned nothing from Uber or Hailo.

This app used to work well. Recently its functionality, like letting you know the status of your booking, has deteriorated completely. Even the contact email address is invalid! And the cabs show up late when they show up. Try another company!

Does Beck think that the reason people love Uber is because of an app? Taxis in Toronto (and most other cities in Canada) are filthy, driven by inattentive & unprofessional drivers who expect a tip for horrible service and cause a stink every time you try and pay by credit card. Perhaps if Beck cleaned its cars, had drivers who actually acknowledged their customers instead of talking on their phone the entire ride, and who drove safely people wouldn’t be flocking to Uber. Until that happens, I’m happy to give Uber drivers 100% of my business.

- it shows "no service" most places in GTA except down town. It tells me to call them to make special arrangements. No thanks. - I cant see how long a taxi will take to arrive without first placing an order - I dont see any way to estimate my fare without placing an order. Etc etc...

Hate the new app. Waited for 15 minutes even after the app said that the taxi has arrived. Called beck 3 times and all I was told us that they would check up on it. Thankfully another cab was in front of us so we ended up taking that instead. So much for planning in advance

Cab arrived 4 hours after booking. Wait until they have real time tracking

Wow, I dont know why but I gave this app a chance...waste of time... there were no cabs available at 5:30pm on a Friday afternoon. I got an uber car instead ... Came right away for half the cost, no hassle, and a user experience which Beck or any of the other taxi companies will never be able to achieve.

I was excited about this update. I currently use the über app but only to hail real taxis, never for the uber x cars. Having a beck app that could replace this would have made me very happy. Sadly that was not to be. 1) it doesnt show me where the nearby cabs are before I book 2) when I made a booking it just told me that my booking was sent but no update about when my cab was coming. Nor did it show me on the map. 3) after 5 minutes of waiting for an update I cancelled the booking. 4) I went to the uber app and saw that there were taxis within a few minutes of me and I booked and was in a taxi in under a minute. Beck.. There are many people like me who desperately want you to pick up your game and give us the booking app we want. I will never use uber to book a non taxi but until you get your act together and give us a real online booking app you will never take the uber apps place. Please get it together. This battle is yours to lose.

You needs to look at your drivers first, they lack professionalism.

This app is fantastic way to get around the city. I am so happy to see a safe insured business offer such amazing technology . Keep up the great work !

There is a lot of astroturfing here. So many fake reviews but this one is not. The app was okay until the driver made me cancel the trip and pay directly. All I wanted was the convenience of PayPal... Youre getting closer to competing with Uber. Get the drivers on board Beck!
